Veterinarian

Dr. Toth graduated from Louisiana State University (LSU) in Baton Rouge, Louisiana with his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 1982 and started his veterinary career in Texas in 1984. Dr. Toth has been in Austin, Texas since 1992 where he grew as a veterinarian and raised his family. He also provides acupuncture, cold laser treatment, and has had specialty training in surgeries. He has a strong passion for his work and believes in treating his staff and clients like family. In 202o Dr. Toth became full owner of Burnet Road Animal Hospital and in 2022 his daughter Dr. Amy Toth joined her dad here as a full-time veterinarian. Dr. Toth enjoys martial arts, hiking, and spending time with his family.

Veterinarian

Dr. Amy Toth joined the veterinary team at Burnet Road Animal Hospital in April 2022. Born and raised in Austin, Dr. Toth attended Texas A&M University in College Station for her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, and her professional interests include dentistry, feline medicine, internal medicine, and surgery. Her favorite part of her job is helping strengthen the human-animal bond for her clients and their pets. Dr. Toth is excited to join the Burnet Road Animal Hospital team and to work with her father to provide an exceptional level of care for their patients. In her spare time, Dr. Toth enjoys walking in the park with her beautiful Chug, Latooda Jean, while listening to true crime podcasts, as well as spending time with her self-proclaimed love-of-her-life, a Himalayan cat named Grampa Potatoe.
